How to use the complete list

You get an Excel file and a CSV. The file is yours. Twelve months of list updates are included. After that, the file you already downloaded stays yours. One-time price: $497. No autorenew.

Request a sample if you want to see the columns first. Named columns are listed on the field glossary. Official manager count is on coverage.

Excel or Google Sheets

  1. Download the .xlsx or .csv.
  2. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.
  3. Freeze the header row.
  4. Sort or filter on Country, Region, AUM (Millions), Hiring, or Strategy 2–5.
  5. Keep leading zeros in Zip. Do not let Excel turn 06880 into 6880.

You can use the file on up to 5 devices.

Salesforce

  1. Export or save the CSV.
  2. In Salesforce, use Data Import Wizard or Data Loader.
  3. Map Fund Name to Account Name.
  4. Map Website to Website, Phone to Phone, Address / City / State/Province / Zip / Country to billing or shipping address.
  5. Map Main Email to a firm email field. Map Contact 1–4 Name / Position / Email to Contact records, not to the Account email.
  6. Map Careers Email only if you have a field for it. Do not overwrite executive emails with the careers address.
  7. AUM (Millions) is millions of US dollars as stored in the file. Label the Salesforce field so nobody treats it as whole dollars.

HubSpot

  1. Import the CSV as Companies, then a second import as Contacts.
  2. Company key: Fund Name (and Website if you use domain matching).
  3. Contact imports: one row per executive column set (Contact 1, Contact 2, Contact 3, Contact 4).
  4. Map Firm LinkedIn to the company LinkedIn field. Map Contact 1 LinkedIn (and 2–4) to the matching contact.

Updates

For 12 months you get a fresh file. Replace the working spreadsheet or re-import. There is no autorenew and no stored card. After the year, keep using the last file you downloaded.

The dashboard (when you have access) can filter the same data and export the current view. Until you use it, the spreadsheet is the working copy.
