A hedge fund contact list is a file of management firms you can sort, filter, and import. Each row is a manager. The useful columns are the ones that help you reach them: legal name, address, phone, website, and email. Some files also name people at the firm.
It is a contact product. It is not a returns product.
People buy a contact list when they need to write to managers, not when they need to underwrite a fund.
Typical uses:
If you need performance history, peer groups, or LP names, you want a licensed allocator database. That is a different product and a different price.
One complete list. Excel and CSV. You keep the file.
As of 15 August 2026 the list includes 5,110 hedge fund managers. That number comes from the current workbook, counting only rows whose firm type is hedge fund. It will change when the list is refreshed. The coverage page carries the as-of date and the geography tables.
Price: $497 one time. Twelve months of updates are included. No autorenew, no stored card for a subscription.
The buyer file has a firm sheet (one row per manager) and a People sheet (Name, Position, Company, Email). Public fund profiles at https://hedgefundcontacts.com/blog/{slug}/ do not include the emails. Those stay in the file.
You download the file after payment. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and any tool that reads CSV. Import notes for CRMs are separate. Named columns are defined on the field glossary.
A sample shows the same shape with a short set of rows.
